As a graduate-level counseling intern with four years of experience working in the behavioral health field, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience into the therapy space. My approach is warm, affirming, and person-centered, with an integrative approach rooted in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused strategies. I also incorporate elements of REBT, Adlerian, and behavioral models such as DBT-informed tools to tailor sessions to each client’s needs.
Whether we’re navigating big emotions or building up everyday coping skills, my work is collaborative, emotionally attuned, and deeply client-focused.
I am especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals (including those with ADHD and autism), members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and folks navigating identity development, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm.
My background includes hands-on work with children and teens in behavioral settings, and I’m familiar with behavior modification and neurodivergent-affirming approaches. As someone who is proudly part of the queer and neurodivergent communities myself, I approach this work with both personal insight and professional care. I also strive to practice with strong cultural humility, honoring the complexity of each person’s identity and understanding the whole person beyond just symptoms or labels.
In therapy, I show up with curiosity, compassion, a little humor, and a lot of respect for your unique process. I aim to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to move at their own pace. Together, we’ll work toward self-understanding, resilience, and a sense of agency. My goal is to help clients access their own inner wisdom and walk alongside them on the path to meaningful change and an improved quality of life.
