Specialities
-
I am particularly interested in helping couples and individuals navigate communication difficulties, conflict, connection, and changes within their relationships.
-
Major transitions can bring both excitement and uncertainty. I am interested in supporting clients as they navigate changes in relationships, family roles, careers, and other stages of life.
-
I am interested in helping clients better understand anxiety and the ways it can affect their relationships, decision-making, and everyday lives. Together, we can explore patterns, build on existing strengths, and develop healthier ways of navigating difficult emotions and experiences.
Therapeutic Approach
I was drawn to relational therapy because of the systemic perspective that we cannot fully understand an individual without also considering the relationships, family, culture, and environments that have shaped them. I believe our relationships can be both a source of difficulty and a source of strength, and I enjoy helping clients explore the patterns that influence how they connect with the people who matter most to them.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable bringing their whole selves into the room. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I meet each client with curiosity and respect for their unique experiences, identities, values, and goals. My hope is to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships, recognize their existing strengths, and feel empowered to create meaningful change.
About Me
Before pursuing a career in therapy, I spent more than a decade working in marketing. While I valued many aspects of that experience, I ultimately realized that I wanted to do work that felt more personally meaningful and centered on connection, relationships, and helping others.
Outside of therapy and graduate school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family and friends, and making the most of the everyday moments that bring people together. I believe that some of the most meaningful parts of life happen in our relationships, and I feel grateful to be able to support others as they work toward stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling relationships.
Education
I am a final-year graduate student in Eastern University’s Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy program and am completing my clinical practicum at PHL Therapy Collective under the supervision of Brian Swope, LMFT.
I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.
