Specialities

  • I am neurodivergence affirming, including Autism, ADHD, highly sensitive (HSP) and any other named or unnamed variation of neurodivergence. I am particularly interested in supporting adult diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and neurodivergence questioning adults of all ages.

  • Our bodies respond to our life experiences and hold on to our traumas often without our cognitive awareness. The language of the body is the first language we learn. Sometimes the key to unlocking our challenges lies within the body and is hidden from the mind.

  • For those open to it, fostering a connection to nature can touch us on a profound and primal level. After all we are a part of nature, yet our lives in the city can lead us to become disconnected from the natural world.

Therapeutic Approach

Times of change, life transitions, or outside oppressive forces can be incredibly difficult to navigate and are also opportunities to reacquaint ourselves with who we are.

During these times aspects of our identities may surface that were hidden before. Old or fresh trauma can shake our sense of self. Societal demands and oppression can cause us to subvert parts of ourselves. Chronic invalidation can leave us wondering who we even are.

Whether or not we have the benefit of a supportive community, family, or friends, we may not feel safe and supported exploring all aspects of ourselves. We may not even be aware that we are hiding ourselves but feel anxious or depressed, seemingly for no reason. Our work together will be focused on helping you get in touch with yourself, explore parts that have been hidden, and build your sense of identity so that you can continue on your life path as your authentic self.

Authenticity is integral to fostering healthy relationships with others. Knowing ourselves and our boundaries allows us to repair when there is rupture in relationships that are valuable to us and to leave behind relationships that cause us harm. In addition to our relationships with ourselves and the people in our lives, I believe our relationship with the natural world can heavily impact us.

We will do this work in collaboration through conversation, re-storying, tuning in to the natural world and to the wisdom of the physical body with seriousness and intention and also with levity and joy.
