Specialities

  • Helping individuals, couples, and families navigate relationship complexities with cultural awareness.

  • Working with the intersectionality of BIPOC within the queer community and the ways this community relates to others

  • Working to disempower our traumas and empower clients to be more grounded in who they are, deeper than the mirror.

Therapeutic Approach

As a queer Mexican American woman, I understand the complexities of balancing cultural expectations with personal identity, and I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for clients to explore these challenges without judgement.

My approach is deeply present, collaborative, empathetic, and grounded in authenticity. I work with couples, adolescents, families, and individuals. My therapeutic interests include relationship and interpersonal issues, racial/ethnic identity, trauma, body image, attachment issues, polyamory and alternative relationship concerns, all within the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community.

As a systemic therapist, our sessions will focus on how individual relationships and interactions within your social system can influence thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe in providing individualized therapy unique to my client’s needs. I use a Emotion-Focused, Narrative, Mindfulness, Gottman, among other techniques, to really seek to learn and improve the outcomes of my clients.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable and uncertain. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely supported and respected—where your experiences are honored and your voice matters. Together, we’ll work at your pace to explore what’s important to you, make sense of life’s challenges, and build greater clarity, connection, and emotional well-being.

Education

I recently currently pursing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University and interning at PHL Therapy Collective.
